Today we are going to learn how to move your WordPress Blog to a new domain. Changing your WordPress installation to a brand new domain is not the easiest of tasks. Unlike a standard website, the URL of your website is hard coded into your WordPress installation, meaning that even if you did copy the files from your WordPress install to a new domain, it would always point straight back at the old domain.
So, you are new to blogging. That is great! Knowing where to start when you first decide that you want to get into blogging is a very hard thing. It is a nightmare to be quite frank. There are so many methods to try out, and so many different ways in which you can achieve success in this area.
Look, we have all been there. We all started out not knowing how to install WordPress or out other preferred platform of choice, we all have gone through the countless theme changes just to get the look right, and we have all done an incredibly good job of making ourselves look like we have absolutely no idea what we are doing. We all start somewhere, and we get somewhere in the process.
